Each purchase from A Piece of Africa To You helps provide jobs to over 100 artisans in Africa and our charity collection donates 10% of proceeds to important causes. By partnering with non-profits that crusade for equal educational opportunities, quench the thirsty, house the homeless, feed the hungry, heal the sick or work for peace, A Piece of Africa To You creates a platform to learn about African culture and purchase with a purpose. With every purchase from A Piece of Africa To You you'll be helping to fund educational programs and book donations to communities in need. The money will be used for school supplies for poor children who attend government run school through Imose Cares Foundation International education-focused program, “Tools for School ". The majority of our products available through A Piece of Africa To You are handcrafted using high-quality sustainable materials by indigenous communities in Africa. Our mission is to create a sustainable avenue for high quality products and to support local artisans while preserving African culture and traditions. Products range from apparel to home goods and accessories. Designs are created with the hopes of providing clean drinking water, educating all children, empowering inner city youths, or assistance with disaster relief efforts. A PIECE OF AFRICA TO YOU and its affiliates has been dedicated to act for real change. We are determined to finding ways towards greater equality and social justice for all. We support the fights for the girl child and women to receive equal opportunity in education , employment, sports, politics etc. We stand against all forms of discrimination and prejudice based on race, colour, sex, language, religion, age, marital and family status, sexual orientation, gender identity, health status, place of residence, economic and social situation. As a platform, we will continue to give a voice to individuals, projects, and charities that work for the greater good, by empowering and joining their efforts.
